Daimler Delegation Visits MECE to Discuss Students Training Program

In order to promote and innovate the integration of industry and education and talents-cultivating methods at BJTU, Daimler Beijing delegation and leaders of School of Mechanical, Electronic and Control engineering (MECE) have a meeting concerning school-enterprise cooperation and students training in the conference room of Mechanical Engineering Building at 2:00 pm on March 12, 2018.

The seminar is chaired by Prof. Guo Sheng, Dean of MECE. Seven people of Daimler delegation including Juerqen, the Minister of Daimler Beijing, and Heiko, the Senior Manager of Daimler Beijing attend this meeting. Prof. Zhang Xin, Prof. He Boshu and Dr. Liu Jie of BJTU are also in the meeting.

Dean Guo welcomes Daimler delegation on behalf of MECE and briefly introduces MECE. The participants then introduce themselves to increase mutual understandings. Senior manager Heiko gives a detailed presentation on Daimler’s personnel composition, business direction and the like. He expresses expectations for cooperation with MECE. Afterwards, both sides have an in-depth talk on how to carry out cooperation between BJTU and Daimler and how to make joint efforts to cultivate students.

This successful meeting is beneficial for both Daimler and BJTU, which enables to further carry out multi-level, multi-form and multi-field cooperation between two parties.
